Comics In
The Comics are here and on the shelves. Nothing much of note unless you're a Buffy fan. The new issue is in.

I did just get in two new books of dinosaur art by William Stout. One is a small hardcover Dinosaur Discoveries A-Z (""S" is for Scansoriopteryx") with full color illustrations and it's only $14.95. It's geared more toward children. The other is a larger art book featuring the same work but with slightly longer and more involved descriptions for adults called just Dinosaur Discoveries ($24.95 tpb; $39.95 jacketed hardcover). Stout is magnificent when it comes to dinosaurs. He's also known for his Hollywood work on Conan the Barbarian, Men in Black, Dinosaur and many others.

I also got newly re-issued copies of the Famous Monster Movie Art of Basil Gogos. This is a fabulous look at the artist who really defined the look of Famous Monsters magazine in the sixties with some amazing cover paintings of the horror film icons. New hardcover edition $39.95.

Toodle-oo!
